1. Who we are and how you accept these Terms
1.1. Project Dolphin is a website operated by [DATO PENDIENTE: nombreLegal], with tax ID [DATO PENDIENTE: rfc] and address at [DATO PENDIENTE: domicilio], Mexico ("Project Dolphin", "we", "us"). You can contact us at [DATO PENDIENTE: correo].
1.2. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the site, the template editor, the cart, payments and downloads. By browsing, creating an account, downloading a free template or purchasing a paid template, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1.3. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. If you are a minor, you may only use the site with the authorization and supervision of your parent or guardian, who will be responsible for the purchase and use.
1.4. The Spanish version of these Terms governs. The English version is provided for convenience only; in case of conflict, the Spanish version prevails.
1.5. These Terms do not limit any rights granted to you by the Mexican Federal Consumer Protection Law or other applicable laws.
2. Definitions
2.1. "Site": the Project Dolphin website and all of its pages, features and services.
2.2. "Template": the digital design (for example, a card, invitation, craft or pop-up) offered on the Site, whether free or paid.
2.3. "Editor": the tool that allows you to customize text, photos and fonts in a Template.
2.4. "PDF": the digital file generated from your customized design that you can print.
2.5. "Account": the registration created with Google to access your history and purchases.
2.6. "Order": the purchase of a paid Template, identified by a token.
2.7. "User Content": the photos, text, fonts and other materials you upload or enter in the Editor.
2.8. "License": the permission we grant you to use the Template, under Section 8.
3. What Project Dolphin is
3.1. Project Dolphin is an online store for digital Templates to print at home or through a print service. Some Templates are free and available for direct download; others are paid and include an Editor to customize images, text and fonts. In this version, Project Dolphin acts as the direct seller of the Templates and is not a marketplace or an intermediary for authors. If it later opens the catalog to authors, it will publish author terms, commissions, payouts and withholdings before doing so.
3.2. The PDF is generated in your browser from the Template and your design. We do not store the final PDF; we store the design (Template, photos, text, fonts and settings) so you can reopen and download it.
3.3. We are not a print shop or a shipping service. We do not print or ship physical products. Printing, paper, ink, scale and assembly are the responsibility of the person printing. We recommend printing at 100%, without "fit to page", and following the assembly guidance on the product page.
3.4. The catalog may change: we may add, modify or remove Templates, prices and features. If you purchased a Template and it is later removed from the catalog, you retain the right to download it under Section 7.
3.5. The Site may display Templates, prices and content in Spanish or English. Template availability may vary by language or category.
4. Your account
4.1. You do not need an account to browse, download free Templates or purchase as a guest. The account is optional and is created with your Google account. We do not store passwords.
4.2. When you create an Account, you authorize Google to share your name, email address and profile photo with us. You must keep your email up to date and must not share your account. You are responsible for activity carried out with your Account.
4.3. An Account is personal. You may not sell, transfer or share it. We may suspend or cancel it if we detect fraud, abuse, a breach of these Terms or misuse of the Account.
4.4. If you purchase as a guest, your Order is associated with the browser you used (orders cookie) and with the Order link. To keep your history and access it from other devices, create an Account and use "Save to my account". A generic login does not automatically move guest purchases; claiming them is an express action.
4.5. You may request deletion of your Account by writing to [DATO PENDIENTE: correo]. Before deletion, we will mark your Orders as guest access and send you their links so you can keep access to your downloads; afterwards we will anonymize your Account. We will retain the information we are legally required to keep (for example, orders and tax receipts) and will process it in accordance with the Privacy Notice.
5. Prices, cart and checkout
5.1. Prices are shown on each Template page, in Mexican pesos (MXN). The applicable price is the one in effect when you submit payment. Promotions may end at any time, at our discretion; the price in effect when you submit payment governs.
5.2. The prices shown are the total amount payable and include applicable taxes.
5.3. The cart shows the selected Templates and the total. There are no quantities: each Template is purchased once and you may print as many copies as you need for your personal use. When you submit payment, an Order is created with the price frozen at that moment.
5.4. Checkout processes payments only in Mexican pesos (MXN). Products priced in another currency are not published while checkout only charges MXN; if they are displayed, the Site will show the MXN amount before you pay. The charge is always made in MXN.
5.5. We may cancel an Order and refund the amount if we detect a manifest pricing error, a technical failure, an attempted fraud or an impossibility of delivery. If the error is ours, we will not charge you the difference or require you to accept a different price.
5.6. To request an invoice (CFDI), write to [DATO PENDIENTE: correo] with your tax ID, tax regime, CFDI use and the Order identifier, within the month in which the purchase was made. We will issue the CFDI with the data you provide.
6. Payments with Mercado Pago
6.1. Payments are processed through Mercado Pago. We accept credit and debit cards. In this version we do not offer interest-free installments, cash payments, SPEI transfers or wallets. The charge is made in a single payment (1 installment) and in Mexican pesos (MXN).
6.2. The charge will appear on your statement with the descriptor "DOLPHIN". Mercado Pago may apply its own rules, limits and security processes (for example, additional authentication) under its terms.
6.3. We do not receive or store card numbers, security codes or expiration dates. Those data are entered in Mercado Pago's form and transmitted directly to Mercado Pago. We only receive the order identifier, payment status and amount.
6.4. If Mercado Pago rejects the payment, no charged Order is created and you may try again with another card or method. If the payment is "in process", we will show the status and you can check the Order through its link. Download is enabled when the payment is approved.
6.5. If you detect a duplicate charge or an unrecognized charge, contact us before initiating a chargeback at [DATO PENDIENTE: correo] with the Order identifier. We will investigate and, if appropriate, refund the amount. A chargeback may temporarily suspend access to the Order while it is resolved.
6.6. Refunds are made through the same payment method, via Mercado Pago. Posting times depend on the issuing bank and Mercado Pago; we cannot expedite them.
7. Delivery and download
7.1. Delivery is digital. There is no physical shipping. When payment is approved, the success page shows the download button and the Order link. You can also open the Order from "My purchases" if you saved it to your Account.
7.2. The PDF is generated in your browser. Speed and output depend on your device, memory, browser and connection. If generation fails, you can retry, refresh the page or contact us.
7.3. In this version we do not email the PDF or the link. You can download it and save it to your devices. If we enable email delivery later, it will be a download link and only to the address on your Account; we will never attach the PDF or send it to guests without an Account. Do not share the Order link: it is personal. If you share it, anyone with access could open the Order and download the PDF.
7.4. The Order link is personal and must not be published. If you believe someone else has access, contact us so we can review the case. We may suspend access if we detect abuse.
7.5. If a purchased Template is removed from the catalog, you retain the right to download the PDF of your Order. If the file or Template is no longer available for a reason beyond our control, we will offer a reasonable solution (for example, a refund or an equivalent Template).
7.6. For best printing results: use the original PDF, print at 100% (without "fit to page") and verify the scale with a ruler before printing all copies. Check the dimensions and guidance on the product page. We do not guarantee the result if the scale, paper or printing method is modified.
8. Template license
8.1. When you purchase or download a Template, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide and perpetual license to use that Template and the resulting PDF. The license is for you, your family and your private events, without commercial purposes.
8.2. You may:
- Edit the text, photos and fonts available in the Editor.
- Print as many copies as you need for your personal or family use or for a private event.
- Re-download the same Template as many times as you want, at no extra cost, from the Order link, your Account or your design link.
- Share the printed PDF (not the digital file) with your guests or the event recipients.
8.3. You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, give away, distribute or share the Template file, the SVG, the editable PDF or the download link.
- Use the Template to create products you sell, for client work, for mass printing or for any commercial activity without a written commercial license.
- Publish the Template or PDF on template banks, marketplaces, exchange networks, torrents, NFTs, download sites or print-on-demand services.
- Claim authorship of the design, remove rights notices or register the Template as your own trademark or design.
- Use the Template to train generative artificial intelligence models.
- Extract, copy or reuse design elements to create a competing template.
8.4. Free Templates are granted under the same personal license. Free availability does not mean public domain or a waiver of rights.
8.5. If you need to use a Template for a business, to sell physical products or for a client, contact us at [DATO PENDIENTE: correo] to learn about commercial license options. A commercial license is not automatically available on the Site in this version.
8.6. The license does not cover third-party photos, text, fonts or trademarks that you add. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions to use them.
8.7. Protection of the Template is contractual. PDFs may include an identifier in their metadata (your email if you download with an Account, or the Order or design token otherwise) to evidence the license; it is not visible when printed and does not alter the design. Breach of this license may result in suspension of your Account and legal action.
| You may | You may not |

| Use free templates under the same personal license. | Use it to train AI models or create a competing template. |
9. Your photos, text and fonts
9.1. You retain ownership of your User Content. By uploading it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free license to store, reproduce, adapt (crop, resize, convert), transmit to our storage providers and render it in the Editor and the PDF, solely to provide the service. This license ends when you delete the content or your Account, except for copies we must retain for legal obligations or so that completed Orders remain downloadable.
9.2. You represent and warrant that:
- You are the author or have the necessary rights, licenses and permissions to use the photos, text and fonts you upload.
- You have the consent of the people appearing in the photos, where required.
- You do not infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy, image rights, personal data or other third-party rights.
- The fonts you upload have a license that permits their use and embedding in the PDF.
9.3. We do not pre-screen the content of photos, text or fonts. For files, we validate format, size and signature, not legality or rights. We may remove content and suspend Accounts if we receive a complaint or detect an infringement.
9.4. Do not use the Editor to upload or create illegal, violent, child sexual exploitation, harassment, hate, discriminatory or defamatory content, content that impersonates another person, content that contains malware or content that infringes third-party rights. If you do, we may remove the content, suspend your Account and report it to the authorities.
9.5. If you share your design link ("?t="), anyone with that link can view and edit it. Do not include information in the design that you do not want to share.
9.6. To report a rights infringement, write to [DATO PENDIENTE: correo] with: (a) identification of the content; (b) proof of your right; (c) your contact details; and (d) a good-faith statement. We may request additional information and remove the content while the matter is resolved. We will respond within 5 business days.
9.7. Reviews and public content. You retain ownership of your review, photos and other materials you publish. By publishing, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, for as long as the review is published, to display, reproduce and technically adapt (crop, resize or convert) your review, name, profile photo and photos on the Site and product pages in order to show them to other users. This license ends when you delete the review or your Account, except for technical copies in caches or backups that are deleted according to our retention periods.
9.8. Rights and consent. You represent that you are the author or have the necessary rights and permissions to publish the review and photos, and that you have the consent of the people appearing in them. Do not publish personal data, addresses, documents, identifiable minors or third-party content without authorization.
9.9. Moderation. We do not pre-screen reviews. We may hide or delete them if they breach these Terms, if we receive a complaint or if we detect abuse, without any obligation to publish or keep them. Publication does not mean that Project Dolphin agrees with the author's opinion or that the review is verified by a purchase.
9.10. Removal. You can delete your review from the product page. Deletion removes the review and its photos from the Site; a copy may temporarily persist in caches, backups or providers. To report a third-party review, use the contact email with the content identification and proof of your right.
10. Permitted use and prohibited conduct
10.1. Use the Site personally and lawfully. You may not:
- Access restricted areas, other users' accounts or other users' data.
- Interfere with the security, availability or operation of the Site.
- Use bots, scrapers, automation or tools to extract the catalog, prices or designs.
- Bypass upload limits, rate limits, payment controls or security measures.
- Create fake accounts, impersonate identities or commit fraud.
- Use the Site to send spam, malware or misleading content.
- Resell access to the Site or the Templates.
- Perform load tests, scans or attacks without written authorization.
- Use Project Dolphin trademarks, logos or content without permission.
10.2. We may suspend or cancel your access, remove content and take legal action if you breach these Terms.
11. Project Dolphin's intellectual property
11.1. The Site, its code, design, text, logos, photographs, illustrations, catalog, Templates, SVG files, base PDFs and other materials are owned by Project Dolphin or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
11.2. You do not acquire any ownership rights in the Template. You only receive the License under Section 8. You may not use our trademarks, trade names, logos or interface designs without written authorization.
11.3. If you send us comments, ideas or suggestions, you authorize us to use them without compensation or confidentiality obligation. Do not include confidential information in those messages.
11.4. Embedded YouTube videos are governed by Google/YouTube's terms and privacy policy. We do not control their availability or content.
12. Personal data and cookies
12.1. The processing of your personal data is described in the Privacy Notice. By using the Site, you accept that Notice.
12.2. To provide the service, we process, among other data: your name, email address and Google profile photo; your designs, photos, text and fonts; your cart; your Orders and payment status; billing data (tax ID, tax regime and CFDI use) if you request an invoice; and technical data such as IP address, browser and cookies. We do not request a phone number. We do not store card data.
12.3. In this version we use our own necessary cookies for the session, guest cart and guest orders, plus technical cookies from Google (login), Mercado Pago (payment) and YouTube (only when you play a video). We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. If we enable them, we will ask for consent in a banner and update this document. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; some features may stop working.
12.4. You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection (ARCO) by writing to [DATO PENDIENTE: correo]. You may also contact the National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection (INAI).
12.5. We do not sell your personal data. We share it with providers that help us operate the Site (Google, Mercado Pago, Cloudflare, Railway and YouTube/Google for videos) under their own policies and, where applicable, with processors acting on our behalf. When analytics or advertising are enabled, their providers will be added and consent will be requested.
13. Availability, changes and suspension
13.1. The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be free of errors, interruptions, data loss or attacks. We may suspend it for maintenance, security or force majeure.
13.2. We may change, add or remove features, Templates, prices and content. Changes do not affect Orders already paid, except as permitted by law.
13.3. If a technical failure prevents delivery, we will make a reasonable effort to restore access or, if that is not possible, refund the amount of the affected Order.
13.4. We are not responsible for failures of the internet, your device, your browser, the payment provider, the storage service or causes beyond our control.
14. Warranties and limitation of liability
14.1. We make a reasonable effort to ensure Templates print correctly and the Editor works. We do not guarantee a specific aesthetic, color, assembly or printing result, because it depends on paper, ink, printer, scale and the skill of the person assembling the Template.
14.2. We do not guarantee that the Site is compatible with all browsers, devices or operating systems. We recommend an up-to-date browser and a stable connection.
14.3. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, or for loss of data, lost profits or moral harm arising from the use or inability to use the Site.
14.4. Our total liability for an Order is limited to the amount you paid for that Order. This limitation does not apply to willful misconduct, gross negligence, fraud, death or personal injury, or to rights granted to consumers by law.
14.5. You are responsible for keeping copies of your files and PDFs. We are not obligated to store your designs indefinitely.
15. Refunds, cancellations and chargebacks
15.1. Because this is digital content with immediate delivery, refunds are limited to the proven cases in this section. There are no refunds for a change of mind, for not using the Template, for color, paper, ink, scale or assembly differences, or for errors in the text or photos you provided.
15.2. A refund is available if you request it by email and prove one of the following:
- Duplicate charge: two or more charges were made for the same Order. You must send the charge identifiers or the statement showing them.
- Error in the final PDF design: the delivered PDF does not correspond to the purchased Template or the saved design (for example, cut-off text, missing image, wrong page or corrupted file), provided the error is attributable to us and not to the data or files you provided. You must send the PDF and a screenshot or description of the error.
- The PDF does not open on your computer: the file cannot be opened in a standard PDF reader on the equipment you used. You must send a screenshot of the error, your operating system, the reader and, if possible, the file. We will verify the file; if it is corrupted or cannot be regenerated, a refund is due. If it opens in another reader or we can regenerate it correctly, no refund is due.
15.3. To request a refund, write to [DATO PENDIENTE: correo] with the Order identifier, the purchase email and evidence of the case. We may ask for additional information. We will respond within a reasonable time and, if appropriate, process the refund through Mercado Pago. The refund is made through the same payment method; posting times depend on the bank and Mercado Pago.
15.4. The following are not defects: color differences between screen and print, paper or ink variations, scale errors from not printing at 100%, assembly problems from not following the instructions, errors in the text or photos you provided, or a Template you simply do not like. If the problem is printing or assembly, contact us and we will help you diagnose it.
15.5. If you initiate a chargeback, we may suspend access to the Order while it is resolved. If the chargeback is decided in our favor, we will restore access. If it is decided in your favor, the Order will be cancelled. A chargeback does not replace the email refund request.
15.6. Nothing in this section limits your right to file a complaint with the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO) or any rights granted by law. If applicable law recognizes a right of withdrawal that cannot be excluded, we will honor it.
16. Changes to these Terms
16.1. We may modify these Terms due to legal, technical or business changes. We will publish the new version on the Site with its effective date and, if the change is material, notify you by email or through a prominent notice.
16.2. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Later changes do not affect rights acquired in paid Orders.
16.3. If you do not agree with a modification, you may stop using the Site and request deletion of your Account. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the change.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
17.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States.
17.2. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of [CIUDAD], [ESTADO], waiving any other jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumer rights and the jurisdiction of PROFECO.
17.3. If a clause is declared invalid, the remaining clauses will remain in effect and the invalid clause will be replaced by a valid one that most closely reflects its purpose.
18. General provisions
18.1. These Terms, the Privacy Notice and your Order confirmation form the entire agreement between you and Project Dolphin.
18.2. We do not waive a right by not exercising it in a specific case.
18.3. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our written consent. We may assign them to a successor or purchaser of the business, with notice to you.
18.4. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
18.5. The obligations regarding license, intellectual property, personal data, liability and governing law survive termination of these Terms.
18.6. Official communications are made by email to the address on your Account or the address you provide, and through notices on the Site.
19. Contact
19.1. For questions, claims, commercial license requests, infringement reports or ARCO requests: [DATO PENDIENTE: correo].
19.2. Address: [DATO PENDIENTE: domicilio]. Business hours: [DATO PENDIENTE: horario]. Phone: [DATO PENDIENTE: telefono].
19.3. If your request concerns an Order, include the identifier and the purchase email so we can locate it.
